Laundress Description
A Laundress is a Household Staff member responsible for washing, ironing, and steaming her employers’ clothes, bedding, dining linens, etc. The Laundress also puts away and organizes clothing, sheets, table linens, and other items in the household’s closets and dressers. Additionally, a Laundress may be responsible for the cleaning and polishing of shoes, boots, etc.
