Chauffer / Driver Description
Upon request, a Chauffeur drives an Employer, his or her family, guests, and others to social and professional appointments. He or she is also expected to care for the vehicle(s), making sure it is always clean and operating properly. A Private Driver may also be required to work in the office of the Employer, doing filing or faxing and running errands. Hours typically vary, so a professional Chauffeur is generally quite flexible.
In many cases, proper physical presence must be presented by the Chauffeur at all times. This usually means that the Driver is neatly put together, i.e., he or she is conservatively dressed in a clean and crisply pressed black or dark suit, dress shirt, and appropriately matching tie, with freshly polished matching footwear.
